The one cut that matters

Prune in late summer immediately after flowering. Cut back by about a third — into the soft greener wood, NEVER into bare brown wood (lavender does not regrow from old wood).

Done annually, plants stay tight and live 8–10 years. Skip a year and they go leggy in 3–4.
