Pick to keep them coming

Cut when 1/3 of the petals on a flower have unfurled — they keep opening in the vase. Pick at least twice a week. A cosmos plant 'cut hard' flowers from June to first frost.

Vase life: 5–7 days, longer if stems are recut and water is changed daily.
